Discovering D-Fruit in Bukit Panjang
So, I recently stumbled upon D-Fruit on Bangkit Road, and let me tell you, if you’re a durian lover, you might want to check it out. They say it’s the “ultimate fruit destination,” and while that might sound a bit fluffy, there’s certainly something compelling about it.
Walking into D-Fruit feels inviting. I mean, who wouldn’t want to explore a place dedicated entirely to fruits? The smell of fresh durians hits you right as you step in, and, if you’re lucky, you might even catch the staff prepping orders. They promise quick delivery too, which is a total lifesaver for those late-night cravings.
Now, I’ve seen mixed reviews. Some folks rave about the Mao Shan Wang durians—apparently creamy and sweet. Others, though? Not so much. Seems like quality can be hit or miss. Like one customer said, they ordered a few but got a not-so-great experience. Ouch!
Still, the Durian Party service? Sounds fun! Picture this: friends gathered around, sharing that rich, bittersweet goodness. Sounds like a blast to me!
One downside? There’s no wheelchair accessibility and the restroom situation isn’t great either. But, if you’re sprightly and just craving fresh fruit, heck, it might be worth a visit.
Anyway, they’re open every day from 8 am to 10 pm, which is solid for us late-night snackers. It might not be perfect, but hey, it’s fruit heaven for some, right?
