So, I just had to share about my recent visit to Farrer Horse, this chill spot in Kampong Glam. Honestly, you wouldn’t think you’d find such a gem tucked inside a hotel like The Sultan. It’s like stepping into a cozy, stylish lounge that’s part equestrian museum, part hip cocktail bar. Quite the unexpected combo, right?
When I walked in, the vibe totally grabbed me. The decor? Amazing! Think high ceilings and cool horse-themed art all around. You can pick your adventure here: relax in the dining area downstairs or head up to the intimate bar on the second floor for a cocktail - which, by the way, is inspired by famous racehorses. How cool is that?
As for the drinks, there’s a serious range. I mean, they’ve got everything from standard beers to craft cocktails that might just blow your mind! I tried their flower power martini, and let’s just say, a second round was non-negotiable. And don’t even get me started on their food! The fusion vibe really shines here. I went for the Chettinad pizza. Spicy, flavorful – pretty sure it was a party in my mouth.
The staff? Super friendly. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. One guy, Safi, even remembered me from my last visit. It’s those little things that make a place special, ya know?
