So, I recently found myself at Ichiban Sushi in West Mall. Right off the bat, it had a real casual vibe. You know, nothing too fancy, just comfortable enough for a relaxed meal. Located at 1 Bukit Batok Central Link, this place appears to attract a decent crowd. I mean, over 1,100 reviews can’t be wrong, right?

Now, the conveyor belt is an interesting touch, though I noticed it was gathering dust. Not ideal for a sushi joint, but hey, the menu still had a ton of choices. The sushi is good, but some of the dishes felt kinda… average. Like, I really wanted the salmon skin to blow my mind, but it didn’t.
