So, I recently swung by KOI Thé Express at Seletar Mall, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a mixed bag. Found at 33 Sengkang W Ave, B1-K6, this bubble tea spot seems to promise a refreshing vibe with its tagline, “Your Daily Beat!” But, boy, it felt like I might need a different beat to enjoy my experience.
I spotted some reviews mentioning long waits—like, “did I just step into a time warp?” kind of waits. Some folks waited over half an hour for their drinks, which can be a drag when you’re craving that bubble tea fix. Most staff seemed friendly enough, though a few reviews complained about the staff’s attitude. Seriously, a smile won’t cost you anything, right?
On the upside, I overheard a couple of customers raving about their drinks. One guy claimed his milk tea was delicious, and others spoke highly of the jumbo pearls. Gotta love those chewy little guys! And hey, it’s open every day from 11 AM to 10 PM if you ever feel the urge to check it out yourself.
They have a self-ordering kiosk, which is pretty neat, but maybe that’s part of the problem with order queues? I mean, if you’re taking techy steps but still having a slow-mo experience, then what gives?
They’ve got options—takeaway for those on the go and a nice selection of teas to pick from. You can even pay with cards or through your mobile.
With all said and done, KOI Thé might just be worth a shot if you’re in the area and not in a rush. But I’d probably bring a book to occupy my time while I wait!
