A Hotpot Experience at Shi Li Fang

So, I popped by Shi Li Fang Hot Pot at Grantral Mall last Saturday, and let me tell you, it was a mixed bag. This place sits right at 3151 Commonwealth Ave W, making it pretty accessible if you’re in the area.

First things first, the vibe is casual. It’s the kind of spot you can hit up with a group of friends or even just roll solo. I went around noon, and the staff were super friendly. They even hooked me up with a promo: $1 drinks, sauces, and ice cream! What a steal, huh?

Now, let’s talk about the hot pot itself. I’ve had better, honestly. The soup base felt kinda flat and watery, which was disappointing. Portions seemed to be shrinking over the years, too. Not the cheap thrill it used to be, that’s for sure!
